The protection of the environment is a major concern. The preservation of natural resources and the establishment of safe and healthy working conditions for our employees are fundamental elements of our company policy.
In this respect, BoroChem has implemented the following practices:

| • | The great majority of our compounds can be delivered in any desired quantities. Order the exact quantities you need for your research; you spend less, we all spoil less, for the benefit of the environment.

Waste management| • | We minimize our discharges and have our final waste incinerated by registered companies
| | • | We sort our trash for recycling (paper, cardboard, cartridges, batteries) | | • | We limit paper use; quotations and order confirmations are sent by email | | • | We recycle office paper whenever possible |
Optimization of production methods| • | We optimize our production methods in order to reduce the amount of water and raw materials that are used during the synthesis of our products
| | • | Our laboratory equipment is tailored to prevent air and water pollution |
Reduction of carbon dioxide emissions| • | We group our raw materials orders, thereby reducing the environmental impact of transport
| | • | We control our energy consumption by turning off equipment we are not using, shutting fume hood sashes that are not needed, and turning off lights in empty rooms for example |
Environmental regulations| • | We comply with regulations and legal obligations in terms of environmental protection
